My first post

Well, I'm not really sure how to start this or what to say. A friend encouraged me to try blogging online to "get my feelings out" and so i'm taking her up on it.

My daughter fell ill this week, and was just diagnosed with pnuemonia for the 2nd time in 6 months. its both frustrating and heartbreaking. i hate to see her sick. I hate not having control and being able to help her without them hurting her at the same time. she had to have blood cultures drawn and get an antibiotic in her rear, i felt so helpless.

she's laying alone on the cough right now, and the motherly instinct tells me to get off here and go hold her. i just made a committment that i was going to start this blog today, so i did it.
